A participatory process is a sequence of participatory activities (e.g. first filling out a survey, then making proposals, discussing them in face-to-face or virtual meetings, and finally prioritizing them) with the aim of defining and making a decision on a specific topic.
Examples of participatory processes are: a process of electing committee members (where candidatures are first presented, then debated and finally a candidacy is chosen), participatory budgets (where proposals are made, valued economically and voted on with the money available), a strategic planning process, the collaborative drafting of a regulation or norm, the design of an urban space or the production of a public policy plan.

About this process
Participatory budgeting process to collecitvely decide how to spend the MERA25 Berlin financial budget.
The MERA25 National Coordination has allocated a financial budget to MERA25 Berlin, now we have the opportunity to collectively decide how to spend this budget. Members can create project proposals up to a maximum budget of 5,000 EUR. Each member of MERA25 Berlin has three total votes to allocate, with the top five projects with the most votes within budgetary constraints allocated funding.
Proposals for projects should include estimated expenses, indication of the expected labour commitments. Proposals for events should include an indication of the estimated date(s) and length of time. For material expenses, please include any relevant information and links.
